  • 2 Mixing bowl
  • Masher
  • Chopping board
  • Chopping knife
  • Wooden spoon
  • Sieve

Ingredients
 
 

  • 280 g flour self-raising, sieved
  • 140 g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 3 bananas mashed
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 110 g walnuts chopped
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 200 g margarine melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl.
  • Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • Mix the wet mixture and the dry mixture together.
  • Put into well-greased loaf tin.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1½ hours.

Notes

The mixture can also be split into muffin cases to make 8 large muffins. Cooking time for muffins will be reduced to 20–25 minutes.
