
Red Rooster Smoothie
A vibrant and delicious smoothie packed with berries and banana, perfect for a refreshing drink or breakfast option.
Equipment
- Chopping board
- Chopping knife
- Hand blender
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 200 g summer berries fresh or frozen, such as strawberries, raspberries or blackberries
- 1 banana peeled and roughly chopped
- 125 g fruit yoghurt ideally strawberry, raspberry or cherry
- 150 ml cranberry juice
Instructions
- If using frozen berries, allow them to thaw a little.
- Peel the banana and roughly chop.
- Add all the ingredients in a bowl and puree with a hand blender (or use a liquidiser).
- Pour into glasses and enjoy straight away.
Notes
This smoothie is best served cold. Customize it by adding a handful of spinach or kale for an extra nutrient boost!
