
Poached Eggs
Easy and delicious poached eggs. Serve with toast and baked beans.
Equipment
- Measuring cup
- Saucepan or frying pan
- Stove
Ingredients
- 250 ml water
- pinch of salt optional
- pepper
- 10 ml vinegar
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- Put the water into a saucepan or frying pan, add the salt, pepper, and vinegar. Bring to the boil.250 ml water
- Break the eggs into the boiling, salted water. Simmer gently until the eggs are set (2-3 minutes).250 ml water
- Remove the eggs from the saucepan and serve.
Notes
The vinegar prevents the egg yolk from breaking. Consider serving with toast and baked beans for a complete meal.
