Ingredients
 
 

  • 250 ml water
  • pinch of salt optional
  • pepper
  • 10 ml vinegar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions
 

  • Put the water into a saucepan or frying pan, add the salt, pepper, and vinegar. Bring to the boil.

  • Break the eggs into the boiling, salted water. Simmer gently until the eggs are set (2-3 minutes).

  • Remove the eggs from the saucepan and serve.

Notes

The vinegar prevents the egg yolk from breaking. Consider serving with toast and baked beans for a complete meal.
