
Peas and Rice
A simple and nutritious dish made with brown rice and peas, perfect as a side or light main.
Equipment
- Saucepan
- Measuring cup
- Wooden spoon
Ingredients
- 180 g brown rice
- 500 ml water
- 100 g frozen peas defrosted
- 1 tsp olive oil
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan and add the rice. Follow the cooking instructions that are on the packet.180 g brown rice
- In a smaller pan, heat up the peas in a little water.180 g brown rice
- When both are cooked, drain them and then mix them together, adding olive oil and pepper to taste.180 g brown rice
